Halloween for Hunger

~ George Bernard Shaw Started by Professor Jonathan White, while he was a college student, this campaign to help fight hunger has grown to an effort that has spread across North America.
According to the USDA a staggering 35 million Americans go hungry every single day, including over 12 million children. In the world, 854 million people are hungry and 16,000 children die of hunger related causes very day -- one child every five seconds. On Halloween, October 31st, this year and every year, volunteers will be bringing the fun back to trick or treating and, instead of collecting candy will be asking for non perishable and canned goods.
