Shelly Williams is a certified therapeutic recreational specialist. Shelly graduated from Indiana University in August of 1997 with a bachelor of science in Recreation, specialization in Therapeutic Recreation.

Shelly was an intern at RIC when Dreams for Kids teamed with RIC to create a program for kids with disabilities to help bring them from the sidelines of life to the activities of their dreams.

When Dreams for Kids established its Extreme Recess program, Shelly continued to lend her time and passion to help kids experience the joys of being involved in activities which they had never dreamed possible.

This summer Shelly traveled to Florida to help facilitate our first annul dolphin swim. Shortly after her return, she could be found in the water at Twin Lakes Wisconsin helping create a day of adaptive water skiing, tubing, kayaking, swimming for hers and ours 10th annual water sports day for kids of all abilities!

Shelly is the finest example of how one person can make a difference -- and change lives one kid at a time!
