Teaming with our partner in change, Free The Children of Canada, Dreams for Kids has created a powerful and innovative way to directly help end the isolation of children all over the world.

Youth leadership groups, community and faith based organizations, and businesses large and small, have embraced this dynamic fundraising initiative as a hands on method to serve the local and world communities and literally put kids on the map.

A visual work of art, the Dreams for Kids Global Village has been created to give volunteers an opportunity to Adopt a Dream, create fundraising opportunities to make the dream come true, and truly change lives as a result of their efforts.

In part of the Global Village, Dreams for Kids Extreme Recess! Program is represented. Participants who adopt these dreams will actually be giving children an opportunity to participate in activities and sports that have never been available to them. The dreams come true will bring a child from the sidelines of life into a world of companionship, new friends, the joy of sport, renewed confidence and self esteem, and just plain fun!

The funds raised for Extreme Recess! will benefit children from the local communities of the participants who raised those funds. You will be helping those children in your own neighborhood who are completely isolated. Imagine the day when you, as a volunteer, can witness the local version of Extreme Recess! and meet the child whose dream came true because of you!

Across the ocean, a world apart, but part of our very same world, participants can provide the dream of freedom and education. A cow can feed a family of four in a developing country and can help bring a child home from child labor and return him to school.

By providing such sustainable income sources for families, we can reach out to the more than 254 million child laborers and help save their future.
